What is RU 58841?
RU58841 is a non-steroidal experimental anti-androgenic drug designed for the topical treatment of acne and androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness).
Although it certainly has not earned the title of “hair loss treatment”, RU58841 is certainly the most promising and effective method available for preventing hair loss, and it is so effective at preventing hair loss that it can almost be called a “cure”.
RU 58841 Prevents Hair Loss
DHT is the leading cause of male pattern baldness.DHT (a necessary and otherwise useful hormone) attaches to and shrinks the hair follicles of people who are prone to MPB (male pattern baldness). Literally almost every case of hair loss is caused by DHT. The chances that your hair loss is caused by something else are less than 1 in 100.
Even for anabolic steroid users, the reason you’re suddenly balding so quickly is because you’re introducing excessive amounts of exogenous hormones, which are converted directly into DHT into your body, accelerating the rate of hair loss. Therefore, the only way to combat hair loss is to fight DHT directly.RU 58841 helps to significantly prevent this when applied topically to the scalp. It works by attaching to the hair follicle and preventing DHT from attaching to the follicle. When protected by RU 58841, the hair on the scalp grows to maturity and is not reduced in size by DHT.
RU 58841 Dosage
RU58841 is very powerful and does the job. A standard dose of 50mg applied evenly to the scalp once a day in areas prone to male pattern baldness is sufficient, but some people may need more (depending on various individual-specific factors). I personally have never exceeded 50mg in my research. for almost everyone, increasing this to 75mg or 100mg should be more than enough, and may not even be necessary at all. After applying 50mg to the necessary area, I rub it in with my fingertips to make sure the liquid completely covers the spot and then allow it to dry (less than a minute, actually).
After that, you can also use Minoxidil. For application, it is recommended that you apply RU58841 after you have washed your hair and allowed it to dry completely.Ideally, you would want to apply it within 30 minutes of showering as the scalp produces sebum, which reduces the efficacy of RU58841 to penetrate the skin and locally block the DHT.
RU 58841 vs Finasteride and Dutasteride
Some other hair loss prevention treatments such as finasteride or dutasteride will greatly stop (or significantly slow down) the process of miniaturization and, if lucky, provide some less dramatic regrowth. Finasteride and dutasteride “work” well for most people who don’t use steroids and are lucky enough not to disrupt systemic DHT levels so severely as to cause erectile dysfunction, brain fog, and a fatter muscular physique. Destroying it systemically with finasteride and dutasteride when there are better options available is ridiculous to me.
Both of these drugs work by killing DHT in the body, indirectly preventing hair loss because there is no DHT negatively affecting the scalp at all. But what is the problem? I’ve heard of several people on Finasteride or Dutasteride losing muscle, having erectile dysfunction, looking like shit every day, and several other negative side effects, all at the expense of saving their hair.RU 58841 protects your hair follicles from DHT attaching to the places you use it, but allows your body’s DHT levels to remain exactly the same.
