GHRP-2 stands for Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide 2 (a growth hormone pro-secretin). As the name suggests, this drug stimulates the release of growth hormone.GHRP-2 is currently available on the pharmaceutical market as a therapeutic agent for GH deficiency.GHRP-2 is quite an effective stimulator of growth hormone release. Although it only increases the body’s ability to synthesize this hormone itself, it can also promote the production of very high levels of growth hormone compared to exogenous human growth hormone administration, provided that it is given in appropriate doses. And it is much more cost-effective compared to growth hormone.
It is 200%-300% times more effective at stimulating growth hormone release than its predecessor, GHRP-6. At the same time, the appetite stimulating properties are significantly reduced. However, most users still report an increase in appetite after using GHRP-2. The effect is just not very strong and is short-lived. In contrast, GHRP-2 is also thought to have no effect on wound healing. This may be related to a lower degree of spillover effect on cortisol.
GHRP-2 Benefits bodybuilding
The body weight of an organism has a significant positive new correlation with serum growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) (i.e., the more GHRH there is, the more the organism will weigh, and GHRP2 is a type of GHRH), and levels of GHRH are also positively correlated with lGF1 and growth hormone levels. Organisms that had used exogenous GHRP-2 showed significantly higher daily weight gain than controls. And GHRP-2 was effective in increasing muscle fiber diameter (muscle fiber thickening) and skeletal muscle area (increased muscle mass). The use of exogenous GHRP-2 was very effective in increasing serum growth hormone and lGF-1 levels, and enhanced mRNA signaling in liver and skeletal muscle (i.e., increased muscle synthesis in tissues) The pro-protein synthesis effect of GHRP2 is manifested in the enhanced regulation of the protein synthesis pathway. GHPR-2 is a very effective peptide hormone that can really build muscle.
GHRP-2 Side Effects
Common side effects of GHRP-2 treatment include flushing, sweating, drowsiness, increased glycemic index and increased appetite, water retention, and a lack of appetite.joint pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and numbness or tingling in the extremities. Note that GHRP-2 has a lower incidence of side effects compared to traditional exogenous growth hormone. This is because the release of GH / IGF-1 is influenced by endogenous synthesis.
Subcutaneous injections of this drug may cause redness, itching, pain or lumps at the injection site. Intramuscular injections are sometimes associated with redness and discomfort at the injection site.
GHRP-2 may decrease insulin sensitivity and increase blood sugar levels. This may occur in individuals without diabetes or with impaired glucose tolerance.
GHRP-2 Dosage
GHRP-2 can be given by intranasal administration, subcutaneous (SC) injection, or intramuscular (IM) injection. However, due to its cost and lower bioavailability by other routes, it is almost exclusively administered by injection.
When used to enhance physical fitness or athletic performance, GHRP-2 is used at a dose of 0.1 to 0.3 mg (100-300 mcg) per injection. administered 1 -3 times per day. If you choose to administer a single dose, it should be used before going to sleep, and an empty stomach is recommended at the time of administration. This is to ensure the most efficient growth hormone release, as elevated plasma fatty acids and/or glucose may inhibit the growth hormone-raising effects of GHRP-2. The total daily dose usually does not exceed 900mcg.
The dose is usually increased gradually starting with 100mcg per injection. The dose may then be increased in 50mcg increments every 3-7 days until a stabilizing dose is reached.
Cycles of GHRP-2 usually last 3-4 months, although Cycles of 6 months or longer are common. Desensitization to GHRP may occur with the passage of time, but the drug can maintain acceptable effective levels at longer Cycles.
GHRP-2 Combinations
GHRP analogs are often combined with GHRH (growth hormone-releasing hormone) analogs, such as sermorelin or CJC-1295.These two drugs promote the release of growth hormone through two different complementary mechanisms. Such combination therapy creates a substantial synergy in growth hormone release, producing the highest degree of growth hormone levels that cannot be obtained with either drug alone. Please note that during combination therapy, the amount of GHRP-2 injected is usually reduced to no more than 200 mcg per injection, with a daily dose of no more than 600 mcg.
