GHRP-6 is a peptide hormone of the growth hormone (GH) class GHRP-6 and all GHRPs are mimics of hunger hormones, which are hormones produced by gastric cells in response to fasting, including transient hunger hormones and hunger hormone mimics that act by activating growth hormone-releasing peptide receptors (also known as growth hormone secretagogue receptors (GHS-R1a)). Elevated GH levels increase GH levels by stimulating GH receptors in the pituitary gland.
GHRP-6 Peptide Benefits
While an increase in GH can be beneficial for anabolism, fat loss, muscle recovery and anti-aging, the primary use of GHRP-6 is to provide increased levels of GH, which also leads to increased levels of IGF-1. This contributes to fat loss and, in some cases, muscle gain. Typically, GHRP is chosen as an alternative to GH use and is rarely used in combination with GH. GHRP-6 is superior to other GHRPs because of its effect on increasing appetite. And it has proven its value in reducing inflammation and helping to heal injuries, especially tendinitis.
GHRP-2, on the other hand, reduces hunger and has less therapeutic value. You may have heard from many bodybuilders that when GHRP-6 is used, there is a huge and very strong increase in appetite about 20 minutes after the injection. In bodybuilding, the use of GHRP-6 will never have any noticeable effect on muscle growth, but rather, GHRP-6 is effective as a fat loss drug as long as food intake is controlled (dry starvation).
GHRP-6 Peptide Usage
Off-season athletes should be able to gain dimension through the use of GHRP-6 because elevated GH levels will make the anabolic environment more conducive to muscle growth, the appetite stimulation provided by GHRP-6 will allow athletes with lesser appetites to maintain their appetites during the off-season, and the use of GHRP-6 will help to increase the efficacy of other medications (e.g. anabolic steroids), while athletes will also find that they can increase the effectiveness of other medications (e.g. anabolic steroids). The use of GHRP-6 can help increase the effectiveness of other drugs (e.g. anabolic steroids), and the athlete may find that he gains body fat more slowly or not at all, since elevated levels of GH increase the metabolic rate. However, when used alone, GHRP-6 does not provide great results.
GHRP-6 may be more useful to an athlete during the preparation or dieting phase, when the body’s increased metabolism will help it lose more fat; in addition, the body’s ability to recover is greatly improved. Recovery is important in both the off-season and in-season, but during periods of fat loss, recovery is greatly reduced due to the restriction of caloric intake. However, dietary control is made more difficult by the increased appetite associated with the use of GHRP-6. However, the onset of hunger is not absolute and cannot be guaranteed to occur at the same level in every individual. Appetite or hunger-related effects are highly dependent on the individual and can be overcome with a little bit of gritting of teeth in order to be drier and leaner, but with safety precautions in place to prevent hypoglycemic syncope.
GHRP-6 Peptide Dosage
GHRP-6 injection can be intramuscular or subcutaneous. The dose must be given at least daily and is most effective when administered 2-3 times per day. Depending on individual needs, the total daily dose may be 50-500mcg per injection. If other growth hormone products are also being used, such as Mod GRF 1-29, the total dose of GHRP-6 required may be reduced, with 50-150mcg per dose being optimal. GHRP-6 must be administered in a fasting hypoglycemic state or its effectiveness will be impaired. The half-life of GHRP-6 is 2.5 hours.
Factors that Decrease the Effectiveness of GHRP-6
To increase GH levels, GHRP-6 is less effective in the presence of high blood glucose levels or high growth inhibitor levels, which are caused by high IGF-1 levels, so for best results, GHRP-6 should be used when blood glucose is relatively low, such as about 30-60 minutes before a meal. If you are also using HGH at the same time, the effect of GHRP-6 will also be reduced because HGH increases IGF-1. Also, GHRP-6 use will further increase HGH levels in the body, but if HGH use is greater than this, then GHRP-6 injections may have little or no effect on increasing HGH.
In addition, low thyroid hormone levels can also reduce the effectiveness of GHRP-6. GHRP-6 can be used to increase thyroid hormone levels appropriately, for example, by using 50-200 mcg of T4 per day or 12.5-50 mcg of T3 per day, which can increase the effectiveness of GHRP-6. (If T3 is used, the dose should be divided into three daily doses.)
GHRP-6 Peptide Side Effects
The side effects of GHRP-6 are the same as for all GH-related peptides, and in most cases are avoidable and adaptable.
Skin Irritation: Some users may experience skin irritation. Skin irritation: Some users may notice mild irritation, pain, and/or itching in the area of injection (line of sight). Joint Tingling: Some users may notice a tingling sensation in their hands or feet. This is usually associated with very high levels of growth hormone in the body, and may also occur at low to moderate doses in some sensitive individuals. Nipple Feminization: In some individuals who have developed gynecomastia, the use of GHRP-6 may cause an increase in prolactin, which can be detrimental to the mammary glands, and in these individuals, the use of cabergoline has been shown to decrease prolactin.
